Yik Kan holds a Bachelor of event management and completed his Master of Social Work in Flinders University.

• Joined CWS in 2018, bringing 6+ years’ experience of working in aged and community care sector, Yik Kan specializes in supporting clients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
• As a qualified social worker, Yik Kan is committed to empowering care recipients to identify and access available resources, aged care services and community supports.
• Passionate about working to support vulnerable and frail seniors, assists them to navigate government support and receive personalized aged care services.
• Appointed as a Justice of the Peace for South Australia in 2025, appointment extends Yik Kan's commitment beyond the workplace by providing cultural and linguistic support to the broader community.
• Trilingual in English, Cantonese and Mandarin- a valued asset in building trust and meaningful connections with clients and families across diverse communities.
